One very nice thing is that my new publishers, Sense, make the full text of the book available in pdf from their web site. You're not allowed to print it, and people don't often like reading whole books from the screen, but it's a great way to let people have a little look into the book, or read a particular chapter. I try hard to write clearly and intelligibly, but some of the ideas are complex and take some background knowledge. A lot of it is very accessible to the smart non-specialist, though.
