Phillip Reese & Hattie Xu, writing in an article in the June 16, 2017 Sacramento Bee published the salaries of the top 50 non-profit CEOs.  I will post the top five (5) of those salaries:

1)  $7,469,654.  Patrick Fry, Sutter Health Plan.

2)  $5,705,698.  James Jordan III, Schools Financial Credit Union.

3)  $1,467,143.  Scott Reiner, Adventist Health Physicians.

4)  $1,282,956.  C. Duane Dauner, California Hospital Association.

5)  $1,162,170.  Stephen Berberich, California Independent System Operator Corporation.

NOTES:

*  The above is total compensation, not just salary.

* The figures above came  from Federal IRS Form 990s.

*  The above figures came from either 2015 or 2014 IRS 990s.

It should also be noted that the names/organizations listed in the article were only from the Sacramento region.

 

What is "Adventist Health Physicians Network"?  All I could find was that it's connected to Adventist Health in Roseville, CA, and appears to be an IPA where a group of physicians have gotten together for billing purposes.
