Administrators debbym Posted June 17, 2017 Administrators Posted June 17, 2017 something i have wondered about is this... when you have a male teacher/role model you may learn by emulating. If your teacher is a female you cannot emulate, if you are a male... in your learning process. Quote deb Love awakens love. Let God be true and every man a liar.
aka Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 Debby, I love how you think. Over the years your comments are showing what a sound mind you have. Thank you for being a regular poster here. May I expound my view on what you just said? The gender issue is somewhat subdued when having a mentor role model. The emulation touches more (for the apprentice) the area of learned behavior. When boys are often around mature capable ladies, and they have respect for them, they unconsciously emulate the lady's behavior in moral issues. They may do so for the sake of winning love and approval of the woman. We women emit aura of personal standards and expectation attitudes. The boys loving us pick that up and emulate it for good or maybe in a low-keyed way. We as believers in Jesus Christ live in two worlds. For better or worse we are still alive and operating on this planet earth. Though in this state, we are also living in a supernatural metaphysical intangible world of the kingdom of God. All around us is His will being done. The evil governing our life here is Satan produced. We have to put up with it. However the miracle happening time and again is how the action of our praying in the metaphysical makes a difference in the evil going on in the physical worldly condition we walk through. We look upon the Deity as male in representative substance. The believing women around this earth have biblicaly learned to emulate this Deity. The believing male is doing the same. There is no issue of gender influence prohibiting a male man saying "Jesus, I love you and want to be like you". I just wonder if it is easier for a woman to say the same. Personally speaking, I never in my life had a woman around that I wanted to emulate. (Except perhaps for Judge Judy) JoeMo 1 Quote
