Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted June 17, 2017 Moderators Posted June 17, 2017 The online Review reports on a situation that was resolved, which was thought to have the potential to involve Sabbath voting. See: http://www.adventistreview.org/church-news/story5184-papua-new-guinea-backs-down-on-sabbath-voting-adventist-record That was an interesting situation. Yes, it is good that it was resolved. However! It fails to deal with the issue that Ellen White clearly advocated that under a specific situation SDAs should vote on the Sabbath. AN examination of that situation might lead people to believe that the principles behind her advice could be generalized to include other situations. One source for this can be found in: Arthur L. White, Ellen G. White, Vol. 3, The Lonely Years, 1976 to 1891, Pages 159 & 160. Quote Gregory
