Clio Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 This has been a very tough week. I appear to be reaching the limit of stress that my makeup allows me to handle with any degree of equanamity. I met with my physician last week, and she is scheduling some tests. As well as a follow-on appointment on the 14th of April. However, every morning since, I'm awakening with dry heaves, nauseated all day, severe abdominal pain, chest pain, tears hovering behind my eyes, inability to make decisions, and definitely issues with short term memory. And no... there is absolutely NO CHANCE I'm pregnant. I'm sure what I'm dealing with is stress, but there are simply no stressors in my life right now that can be eliminated, and each one of them is totally out of my control. It's getting very serious because my doc is concerned she might wind up dealing with me in crisis mode, and with my husband's health, that's totally unacceptable. The odd thing is, I'm truly at peace that Jesus has this under control. It's just the daily walking out has been so hard for so long that my capacity to function is severely diminished. Please pray... I can't stand it any more. Quote A heart where He alone has first place.
Pockey Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 I'll be praying. Hang in there Clio. [:"blue"]Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Matthew 28:11-13 Quote
Nicodema Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 I will pray for you Clio. Remember the Father DOES hear prayers and WILL bring you relief and peace. Remember also even JESUS had to "come apart and rest for awhile" by Himself. You need, for the sake of the vessel in service to Yahweh that you aspire to be, to be a good steward of that vessel and bring it in for repair as needed. Do something entirely for you this Sabbath, take repose in the Lord, and let others fend for themselves. The world will NOT fall apart for a day without you. Rest in Him. That's a freaking order, Sis. Quote "After such knowledge, what forgiveness?" -- T.S. Eliot

Administrators Naomi Posted April 1, 2006 Administrators Posted April 1, 2006 Hey Girl, Hang in there ... it's old but true, "It's always darkest before the dawn." God will not allow us to take more than we can stand. Be strong, keep your faith and find some alone time. Nico's advice is sound. You are loved on earth and in Heaven. That's a freaking order, Sis. Everyone's prayers were heard. This evening when I got home, EVERYONE was ready to "take care of Mom" and just let me rest. I'm going to have a bonfire tomorrow and let the walls of Jericho fall. First thing in the morning I'm getting a burn permit! AND I'M SLEEPING IN. Anything after 4:30 am is sleeping in Thank you sooo much. Quote A heart where He alone has first place.
Nicodema Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 WOW, is God good or WHAT?? Clio that is EXACTLY what I prayed for, specifically ... that the Holy Spirit would prompt all others in your life to rally to you and take care of your needs for a change. ...I'm amazed He would even hearken to me, after this past week ... ??? !!! Either someone else must have prayed the same thing or He must have just listened for Jesus' sake and to show His love for you. Quote "After such knowledge, what forgiveness?" -- T.S. Eliot
