Members phkrause Posted July 3, 2017 Members Posted July 3, 2017 Yossi was the shames at shul and needed some supplies from a cupboard near the rabbi’s office that was seldom used and was secured with a lock. Yossi didn't know the combination, so Rabbi Solomon offered to give it a try. Rabbi Solomon placed his fingers on the lock's dial and raised his eyes heavenward for a moment, saying a few words quietly in prayer. Then he confidently spun the dial and opened the lock. Seeing how impressed Yossi was with this demonstration of faith, the Rabbi smiled and confided, "The numbers are written on the ceiling."
