C. D. Brooks, a leading Seventh-day Adventist evangelist who delivered the church’s message to millions as the founding speaker of the Breath of Life media ministry, died on June 5 in Laurel, Md. He was 85.

There are cases where God works decidedly by His divine power in the restoration of health. But not all the sick are healed. Many are laid away to sleep in Jesus. John on the Isle of Patmos was bidden to write: “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.” Revelation 14:13. From this we see that if persons are not raised to health, they should not on this account be judged as wanting in faith. {CCh 305.4}

Very sad to read this! Also I was wondering why this is not under SDA personnel?

It is an established fact that "trichinosis" from the trichina worm found in hogs, produces symptoms very much like rheumatism, and in one of the tapes CD Brooks produced from "American Cassette Ministries" he talked about this, explaining: "Most people run around thinking, Oh! I got rheumatism," when what they really got is HOOOOOGMATISM." He had a very emphatic way of saying that word which made me laugh every time I heard him say it

Thanks Wanderer! I kinda had an idea, but needed confirmation!!
