Andrews University Board Reinstates President

It's widely known that on March 6 the Andrews University Board accepted the resignation of President Niels-Erik Andreasen.

Yesterday (March 30) the AU board reversed its action and reinstated Andreasen. You can read this breaking story on the Adventist Review website at http://www.adventistreview.com/article.php?id=441

My reaction to the AT report is that it reports a process that presents the denomination/church as working in a very positive manner to respond to public reaction to the report of his resignation.

Being called of God to labor in His vineyard does not confer infallibility. A mistake was made. It was corrected. The people spoke.

The report from the Review is merely the press release from the PR department at AU. AT shows/analyzes the process, as Gregory points out.

Carlos, there are a couple of threads near this one on the forum in which people's reactions to this whole sequence are recorded. They're called something like 'Something Seems Wrong To Me' and 'The Wrong Has Been Righted'.
