Moderators Kevin H Posted July 27, 2017 Moderators Posted July 27, 2017 It is interesting how these prophets tend to want to force upon the church the beliefs of the so called "Historic Adventists" who is on the one hand a branch of Seventh-day Adventism and who's ideas I like to listen to. What bothers me about them is that they don't like to just give evidence and let us decide from there. They demand that we accept their view. Their heroes tended to be on the wrong side of the issues; they were anti Jones and Wagner, they were pro-Fundamentalism in the events that lead to 1919 and 1922. Mrs. White and Willie wrote to them telling them that despite their massive quoting of her words that they miss her message. Among their followers were people who accused Mrs. White of apostasy. As their villains become the heroes of Adventist history they suddenly baptize those who they criticized as apostates in their life times and proclaim them as faithful to their cause (Jones, Wagner, the older Mrs. White, Willie, Prescott, Daniels etc.) and that it's only in recent years that the apostasies their parents or grandparents accused the others of are only new apostasies that have entered the church recently.
