Administrators Gail Posted August 20, 2017 Administrators Posted August 20, 2017 Has anyone here ever had a supernatural manifestation? Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
LifeHiscost Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Many years ago as a young man, somewhere in the 50-60s. while driving between two towns on a country gravel road, with myself, wife and four young children in the back seat, a road that lay up and down so that one couldn't see more than 25-50 feet ahead, traveling too fast in the middle of the narrow road, when just as I reached the top of one of the short inclines, a car coming from the opposite direction popped up traveling at least the same speed, somewhere around 40 to 50 miles ph in the same middle space. The combined speed of 80-100 mph would have undoubtedly killed some or most of us in a head on collision. Although we were far to close for me to act in fear, even reflex action was a distant choice. The next moment of conscious thought I was looking at the other vehicle disappear in my rear view mirror, seemingly only myself aware of just how close we all had come to a harrowing head on collision. Such was God's care for us before I ever truly knew how much we, and I as the driver, needed that over ruling providence, to His glory. God is Love!~Jesus saves! Quote Lift Jesus up!!

aka Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 So.... what did he say? Did he assure you he was/is capable to distinguish between divine supernatural occurrences and Satanic supernatural occurrences? Quote

LHC, your experience reminds me of one I (we) had about that same time. In 1961, my then-husband and I and our infant son were living on his family's farm in North Dakota for the summer, to harvest the crop there after his dad's sudden death. We would drive 60 mph on those gravel roads [or rather, my husband would do so; I didn't know those roads myself so was always very cautious when I was at the wheel). One day when we were speeding over that gravel road where it took many dips, we came up over a hill and found an airplane had landed on the roadway just ahead of us, down in the dipping part of the road! Husband started to slow down, but in order not to skid dangerously on all that gravel, he gunned the motor instead, and went straight ahead -- under the wing of that plane. I held my breath, but he was a skillful driver, and we never scraped or even touched the plane in any way. I believe God and His angels must have been protecting us. I think that was a crop-dusting plane. A small one. But why he had to land on our roadway, and down in the gully, was something I never found out.
