Little John had been trained in the importance of his responsibility to carry the ring down the aisle. All guests were in their place. The music had started and not a single hitch had happened. As little John started down the aisle, he faced the guests, made faces and rude noises came from his throat. This continued as he slowly walked down the aisle. Following the ceremony grandma asked John why he had been making those faces and emitting those rude noises. But, grandma, he explained. I had a very important role. I was the ring bear.
