The following article addresses a number of issues and not only the issue related to my quote:

The following quote addresses issues related to the creation story of humanity:

A note about the word that is translated

helper: The Hebrew word is ezer which connotes power and strength. The word is used more than twenty times in the Old Testament. In the majority of cases it is attributed to God or the king. This is to say that it never connotes the idea of “helpmate” which suggest a lower subservient position. Adam, endowed by the Creator with the moral, mental, and physical power of unfallen manhood, needed a woman just as strong by his side but with the added quality of female emotional sensitivity and soft-heartedness. (Could that mean that women might have more of what it takes to be ordained ministers than men?)

You know what is so sad about all of this. Is that many of those who accept women do not truly understand that both the male and the female were called Adam.

So ELOHIYM created man in HIS OWN IMAGE, in THE IMAGE of ELOHIYM created HE HIM; male and female created HE them. Gen 1:27

Here is the problem the English word man in Hebrew is "'âdâm," which actually means human being!

Man (n.) Old English man, mann "human being", person (male or female). Etymology Dictionary

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that ELOHIYM created mankind, in the LIKENESS of ELOHIYM;   Male and female created HE them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. Gen 5:1, 2

Male being chauvinistic added in the Middle Ages the man separately

 Gen 5:1  ThisH2088 is the bookH5612 of the generationsH8435 of Adam.H121 In the dayH3117 that ELOHIYM H430 createdH1254 man,H120 in the likenessH1823 of ELOHIYM H430 madeH6213 he him;

So let's be clear both male and female were equal and were both king. The word queen came from fallen male not ELOHIYM!

And ELOHIYM blessed them, and ELOHIYM said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion of the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Gen 1:28

Both Adam were there at the tree but the the dragon (that is what the serpent means; it also could fly and it did not look the depiction of dragons drawn after the fall. It was a beautiful flying intelligent creature.); had a conversation with the wife.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.Gen 3:6

You can check this out the KJV were correct on this passage and the male Adam the husband was with her and he ate. So she was not separated from him as again this myth has been taught! She was curse in conception and the birth of children and the husband only was to be ruler which means to guide and direct as the leader of his wife!

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Gen 3:16

To rule over is the problem, the Bible did not say that and looking up the word rule I gave you what it meant. It was not for every male to control all woman. But that is what happen even Israel had the problem; but ELOHIYM showed all through the Bible that this was not what was meant.

Finally, EGW was ordain as a minister until later on it was hidden and then they came up with the license for male ministers! EGW estate has the proof and that is why the North Division is sticking to the facts and with the Bible.

Blessings!

I agree

To rule over is the problem, the Bible did not say that and looking up the word rule I gave you what it meant.

16 To the woman he said, "I will greatly increase your pain in childbirth. You will bring forth children in pain. Your desire will be toward your husband, but he will rule over you." CJB

16 To the woman he said, "I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth. In pain you will bring forth children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." HNV

16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth sons; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. JUB

16 Unto HaIsha He said, I will greatly multiply thy itzavon ([labor] pain) and thy childbearing; in pain thou shalt bring forth banim; and thy teshukah (longing, desire) shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. OJB

Bereishit - Genesis - Chapter 3:16To the woman He said, "I shall surely increase your sorrow and your pregnancy; in pain you shall bear children. And to your husband will be your desire, and he will rule over you."

All these translations, which are Jewish Bibles and translated from the orginal Hebrew, all say the same. Now I will agree that the word "rule" probably doesn't mean the same today as it did in the time of Moses!
