Some predicted that it would be the end of the Earth. Others predicted that it would user in the beginning of the end. Of interest to members of this forum was the fact that several people who post here announced one of these forms of the predicted event. I also found it interesting the I did not see any of them giving credit to the other people in the world who were saying essentially the same thing. From what I was able to read here, if I had not known better, I would have assumed that the people posting here had discovered this truth by themselves. In any case, The 23rd has come and gone. Regardless of red dragons, brown dwarfs and more, Last Saturday does not seem to be to have been a climatic day in the life of this planet. As to the world outside of this forum, one of the proponents of this idea has announced that the climatic day scheduled for September 23rd has been postponed to October 21, 2017. I can hardly wait for the proponents here to pick up on that new date, associate it with the October 22 date in Adventism and ride off into the sunset on some new and revived horse. JoeMo Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 As soon as someone predicts a date, I automatically dismiss that date. So I'm not too worried about Oct. 21. Oct. 21 is also "Sweetest Day", another Hallmark holiday - this one invented by candy makers in 1916 to celebrate our loved ones with candy and other sweet treats. Somehow the end of the world doesn't seem like it should happen on a day where Hallmark celebrates love and generosity. CoAspen 1 Quote
