How many of you reading here remember Waco, Texas, David Koresh and the deaths of so many people law enforcement people assaulted the compound?

Well, if you had forgotten, it is coming back to haunt us.

Paramount TV, formerly Spike TV,  is going to broadcast a series on those events.

For more on this, see:

I think I'll skip that series.

Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup.

If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony.

Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

I remember it well. It just so happens that this was the same time my family and I were converting to SDAism. The church my mother was baptized in about 6 months prior to me was a tiny little church plant, no more than 30 members. You can just guess how concerned my husband and I were that we were somehow following a cult leader!

In my "neck of the woods" NO ONE had ever heard of Seventh-day Adventists. Our small community of over 3 million people are majority non-religious, a quarter Catholic, a quarter main-stream Protestant (Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, etc), and maybe 2 percent Jewish and Islam. There are (my best guess) maybe 2,000 Adventists total in the metro area.

I'll watch it...but maybe when it gets to YouTube because I'm not sure what the Paramount Network is or how to get it.

I WILL not be  watching  it but  I   am  sure  many  people  will and if they  do not  have  a  good   foundation  of the bible  truths  they

may be  influenced  by the  false  hood  of these  events

People who have cable TV will have it.  Paramount TV is the cable  channel that used to be named Spike TV.  If you have cable, check your schedule to see if you have that channel, and you may  have to look for it under Spike TV.
