They mentioned that it sounded like control. I also wonder if our approach to the matter is because we feel that somehow they are 'lost'. Maybe a reexamination needs to be done of our motives in the beginning. Bring people to Christ or to the SDA church? It's an old question but I believe still largely unanswered. IMHO, membership in the Kingdom of God should begin first; and remain our first priority. When the rules for membership in the denomination (club?) clash with or "confuse" the rules for the Kingdom of God, Kingdom rules should take precedence. Quote
