Some have even placed her writings either equal to, or superior to the Bible. Denis Kaiser, writing in the above article discusses the changing views on this subject that occurred over time in the denomination. He starts out with the idea that in the beginning days of this Church, here writing were NOT considered to be either equal to or above the Bible. From there he goes to a time when some suggested otherwise. In the close of his article, he suggests a position that we should take. Some reading the above will disagree with some of the points that he raises. Regardless, I suggest that his article has value for this discussion regardless of whether or not one agrees with everything that the author states. Kevin H 1 Quote Gregory
Moderators Kevin H Posted October 17, 2017 Moderators Posted October 17, 2017 Excellent article!!! Also, it has cleared up a dilemma I've been in over Elder Wilcox since he's said some fantastic things that I've been in agreement with, as well as other things I've been very uncomfortable about, and it is pointed out here how he was trying to build bridges between the two understandings of Mrs. White's work.
