Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted October 24, 2017 Moderators Posted October 24, 2017 ASI is an organization of independent businesses that are associated with the SDA denomination, generally they are owned by Adventists. This association can reflect badly on the SDA Church when problems occur. One such example is the current litigation, both civil and criminal against leaders of an ASI member school. Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted October 24, 2017 Author Moderators Posted October 24, 2017 In a legal system, one functions within the boundaries of the law. If one was damaged by an illegal action, it is O.K. to ask for damages. In our legal system one must always identify what damages are compensatory and what are punitive as the requirements for awarding such differ. Quote Gregory
