Amelia Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Who is a teacher in need of some supplies? Maybe someone on misson somewhere? I was working in one of my stores today when I happened upon some items that were going to be tossed out. They had been marked down and no one bought them and they finally had to go. So being the scrounger that I am and hating to see useful things put into our landfills, I salvaged what I could. So now I have pkgs of notebook paper and multi-colored hi-lighters, all new and in their packages, waiting to find a new home. I will happily pay to ship them where they are needed. All I need is an address. Anyone? cricket Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Amelia, do you have a local Adventist Community Services? They are in need of these items as the school year approaches. I'm certain they would be more than happy to take them from you at this time! Quote
Amelia Posted April 11, 2006 Author Posted April 11, 2006 Yes I could do that but I was hoping to get them into the hands of teachers. Our ACS only offers school supplies to those who ask and then only at the begining of the school year. Otherwise these items would just wind up in the thrift shop because they don't collect items throughout the year.
