We would no longer be able to call a Great Dane a breed, it is just a dog. Same with the chihuahua. True they are all dogs, and could even interbreed, but they are different. They breed true to a standard. There are breeds of dogs today that were not in existence at the end of World War II. People isolated to broad or local areas of the world will begin to display that same biological reality of genetics. If you did one of those Ancestry.com genetic tests, you would likely find you have quite a diversity through different areas of the world for where your ancestors and presumed bloodlines came from. And true, if you were to develop a system for dogs you might find Min Schnauzers go back to Standard Schnauzers and another type of small dog. About the only dog you would likely not find mixed blood in would be the Saluki which has a history going back thousands of years. So, like all breeds of dogs are dogs and can interbreed and you even have mongrels, so are people similar. Don't forget mules, ligers, and other more animals interbreeding. Probably hard to find 100% people from any part of the world. So, disregarding race/breeds is really not a way to solve the problems of racism. As far as slavery goes, blacks may have been brought to America by whites mostly, but they were sold by blacks. I probably do not even have to mention the wars in Africa of extermination to demonstrate "racism" within a race. Consider the event in Rwanda between the Hutus and the Tutsies that resulted in huge numbers of slain people. And there are probably lots of similar situations of mistreatment of one group by another that have just been lost to history. There will always be a reason for sin filled people to mistreat other people and while skin color is an easy place to start, things like religion, culture, and others common things to a group enable the same behavior. Jews in Europe were as white as Germans, but it did not save them from the Holocaust. EGW used a graphic illustration regarding the behavior of the labor unions who were uniting people into hateful groups when she referred to it as "tying into bundles for the burning." I would suggest that racial, ethnic, and even religious group members are also being tied into bundles for the burning. All of us humans, living today, whether black, white, or some other classification are of the same human race. To say otherwise is to fail to understand the range of differences that can exist genetically within the same classification. Today as applied to humanity, race is only a social construct. From that standpoint one's social understanding of race may be grounded in bias and discrimination, or it may not be, as people are different in their social and cultural understandings. While there are more than one race (see the prior listed definitions of "race"), it does not mean there are multiple species of human beings. For that to occur, you would need separate names for the races in a biological sense. There is no Homo European, Homa Asian, or Homo African. We are all Homo Sapiens! Part of the liberal left agenda is to attempt to redefine everything. I sometimes feel like we are stuck in one of Chairman Mao's "political education camps" to learn sensitivity training or something. And yes, we are all one blood, we can trade organs and other body parts, and can produce mixed race children.
