Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted November 18, 2017 Moderators Posted November 18, 2017 The North Pacific Union has announced that Adventist Health in Oregon, Is uniting with a public agency, Oregon Health. See: http://gleanernow.com/news/2017/11/adventist-health-portland-affiliate-ohsu? This will likely remind people of when in Colorado the SDA hospitals formed a working partnership with the Roman Catholic hospitals. Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted November 18, 2017 Members Posted November 18, 2017 I think it's a mistake. OHSU isn't all that great, and they are aligned with at least one other healthcare entity that is very much substandard in care. B/W Photodude Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 OHSU has it's good points and it's not so good points. However, they have had a lot of cooperation in the past as certain patient populations get turfed out from PAMC to OHSU on a regular basis. Some nursing students from WWU also do clinicals at OHSU. Only question I would have is of ownership and what happens if the relationship goes south in the future.
