Yes - quite near.  But what is "near" in Biblical time periods?  IMHO, the 2nd coming is a rolling 3.5 to 7 years away, since (as a futurist) I have seen none of the seals trumpets, plagues, etc. happen yet; so the 1,260 days haven't begun yet.

OTOH we can know which generation.
