I'm making a judgment call) The upshot of that #metoo ... uh.. initiative?? .... is that I don't pay any attention to anyone who posts it anymore. It's sort of like hearing about all the starving people in Syria, and it just doesn't move me anymore. maybe I'm jaded... don't know. Someone tried to tell me that I just didn't understand what it can do to someone if they are sexually assaulted, and that, therefore, I shouldn't even have an opinion on the matter. Really? I don't understand? pffft .... Sorry, but they were preaching to someone who could write a book about it. I don't feel the need to identify with such a group in order to feel some sort of validation or vindication. The desire for having ones face in the media today has no boundaries and why not, the truth is not important anymore. The public would rather believe a lie than the truth because the lie often supports ones biases or desires. However, I even have a Three Stooges episode from probably the thirties where they were spoofing work place shenanigans. I think we had enough time a long time ago to address this issue and it is mighty suspicious why it exploded onto the scene now.
