Moderators Kevin H Posted January 5, 2018 Moderators Posted January 5, 2018 Let's not forget that the Jesuits converted Willie White and made him a spy who succeeded in poisoning his elderly mom against the pastors who were using her writings in their proper use as the infallible quotes from God to demand people to follow what these pastors were teaching. It is interesting how there is a sub-group of Adventism who does not go along with the Adventist tradition of present your evidence and allow others to decide how much of any to accept. They replace it with "If you don't become a clone of my belief it is because you have been deceived" they use it as an argument of wanting to push their own sub-group of Adventism and to also villainies those who support women's ordination. If they have complete truth and people like Willie White, Prescott, and all the rest of us who on individual points may or may not agree with them, but we who don't fully agree with them are all Jesuits or victims of Jesuits, or hypnotists or victims of hypnotists etc. they do not need to evaluate their views. pierrepaul Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 LOL - Many moons ago on the old "atomorrow" message board run by the late JR Layman, I was accused of being a secret Jesuit infiltrator. Quote God never said "Thou shalt not think".
Administrators debbym Posted January 6, 2018 Administrators Posted January 6, 2018 The conspiracy theorist are all too common. and then there are the flat earthers... and it does not end there. Like the power of gossip those who are in the know and empowered, are above. They have reached higher ground, in their own mind. Hey this is intoxicating. If this is all you have... you will hold it tight. Reminds me of the false prophets in the days of the OT kings... They completely believed, they were convincing, and in the know, and persuasive without the humbling truth. phkrause, LifeHiscost and Kevin H 3 Quote deb Love awakens love. Administrators Gail Posted January 6, 2018 Administrators Posted January 6, 2018 It would be nice for Loren to comment here This is mean-spirited for me to say, but there are times when I want to smack people for leaning too heavily on the stupid side. I gotta bite my tongue and allow them their freedom. It's more of a test for me than for them. I had a customer who is a flat-earther. He is a most interesting fellow. If I recall the false prophets in the days of the OT kings were all telling the people that God was bringing them peace, while the true prophets, like Isaiah, and Jeremiah were persecuted and called alarmists, traitors, and "conspiracy theorist" or it's equivalent. While we shouldn't go about casting unsubstantiated labels on people, we also need to be careful not to go too far on the other side. The Jesuits (that is the real ones) have done a very successful job of their mission which was to destroy the protest of Protestantism. They now have a Jesuit pope -- Jesuit Pope Francis A Jesuit chaplain shepherds the USA Congress,, his name is Jesuit Father Patrick J. Conroy. Considering that America, 200 years, ago won't even allow Catholics to hold office in America, let alone Jesuits, things have dramatically changed since then. According to their own website: " the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) is the largest order of priests and brothers in the Roman Catholic Church. Jesuit priests and brothers are involved in educational, pastoral and spiritual ministries on six continents and in 127 nations. For nearly 500 years, Jesuit education has made its mark on the world. In the United States, there are 28 Jesuit colleges and universities, 59 Jesuit high schools and 16 middle schools with a shared goal of developing competent, compassionate and committed leaders in the service of the Church and society. Jesuits minister in parishes and at retreat houses and serve as chaplains at prisons, hospitals, nursing homes and in the military.. Have they impacted Adventism -- How many Adventists in leadership positions have attended these Jesuit colleges and universities? Have Jesuits initiated wars and revolutions? Yes, according to Malachi Martin, an eminent theologian and expert on the Catholic Church and former Jesuit. He gives quite a detailed account of the revolution they initiated and carried out in Nicaragua, in his book "The Jesuits" Another Jesuit, Karl Rahner, wrote a book -- "Unity of the Churches an Actual Possibility" it's uncanny how his eight thesis are being fulfilled in the religious world. While our trust in the Lord should keep us from paranoid reactions, we should still be aware of the trends and success of the Jesuit mission to undo the protest of Protestantism.. Quote
