Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted January 17, 2018 Moderators Posted January 17, 2018 As many do many people, I have a mortgage on my home. In the tax season that is upon us, I have received several documents from my mortgage company. One interested me greatly, so I telephoned my mortgage company today. I was informed that as a Christmas/New Year's gift, a computer glitch has sent out a mass of mailings that contained incorrect information as to the amount of the loan that still remained. I informed the woman that I was talking to that if the company would accept the amount listed on my document as the true loan balance, I would quickly pay it off. She declined my offer. In fact, the amount listed on my document was about 2% of the true actual loan balance. rudywoofs (Pam) 1 Quote Gregory
