Need Some Advice :)

I am looking for some advice right now.   It seems that I am soon going to be in a place in which I can arrange for some charities to receive some substantial donations.  I am looking for suggestions as to which charities should receive the available funds.

Here is  the deal:

A woman in Africa is dying of cancer.  She has selected me to distribute some $12,700,000 in funds to charities of my choice.  So, I need to come up with a plan.

Anyway, the very idea that she trusts me to handle such funds has made my day.

Any ideas?

tell her to send all funds directly to the organization called Spring, which sets up wells and clean water sources where there is no clean or readily accessible water.  Stump her with this one...

tell her all the statistics on people dying for lack of clean water all over the world.

Thank you both for you willingness to assist me.

In sharing this story with my wife yesterday,  I began by stating that an elderly woman had made my day in telling me how pleased she had been in deciding that I could help her with a decision that she needed to make.  I then said that she was a woman who was dying from cancer.

At that point, my wife interjected with a "Oh the poor dear woman."

As I continued my comment, my wife's expression and speech changed.

Was your intent to take pleasure in deceiving your wife? The phrase we used in the 80's for that kind of behavior was "toying with their emotions." If that's the case, and you did intend to deceive her, take note of: Luke 6:31, Proverbs 11:3, Proverbs 12:22, Phillipians 4:8-9, Proverbs 6:1-20.

Aubrey:  I can understand your confusions as to my intent as you have never been in a relationship to me like my wife has.   

My wife is well used to me and understands me--the poor woman, if you prefer.

I do appreciate your use of Luke 6:31, as  that verse clearly as it clearly suggests that if I am willing to receive the same from my wife, I can do it to her.

So, my wife and I do have fun in our relationship.
