Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted February 19, 2018 Moderators Posted February 19, 2018 Recently, we have heard a lot about "fake news." Of more interest is the following story in the L.A. Times which reports on new software available for cell phone use which makes it possible for one to morph a real image, such as that of a person/face into another scene, to include that of another person or that of an animal. The story should be both sobering and interesting. http://www.latimes.com/business/technology/la-fi-tn-fake-videos-20180219-story.html The following URL tells how the above type of software is being used to morph that image of a person into the body of a porn star so that the video appears to be a real film of that person staring in a pornographic video. Note I said that this is currently being done. The URL below includes a short clip from a porn movie in which the female person ahs been given the face of someone else. NOTE: The article contains one "f-word", but other than that, the words are clean. If you would be offended by that one example of the "F-word,' do not access the article. As to the video clip: The female who has been given the face of another person is clothed suitably enough of be out in public and she is NOT engaged in the clip in any sexual activity. So, I do not think that she would be offensive. I am posting these articles because I suggest: * It suggests that there is such a thing as "fake news." * We should be aware that what we think we see may not be reality at all. * This could happen to us. We could be falsely accused. * While some might say this is adult content, I believe that this is on a level where that is O.K. https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/gydydm/gal-gadot-fake-ai-porn Quote Gregory
