Ulunruh Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Have you watched Ravi Zacharias talk about the issue of tolerance? Questions addressed -- what is the original meaning of "tolerance"? Isn't tolerance something we "put up" with when there's something we disagree with? If we agree with something, we are comfortable with it, we don't have to "tolerate" it? Has the meaning of "tolerance" been changed into an impossible idea? Turned from "tolerating" and being respectful to a person we disagree with, into everyone needing to regard "All views as having equal merit and none should be considered better than another." Does tolerance now mean "we can't disagree"? Stan 1 Quote
