Stephen Hawking & SDA Theology?

in 1983 Stephen  Hawking postulated that parallel universes might exist beyond the universe in which we on Earth live. From that time until now, it has been believed that it was impossible for information be transmitted between these universes and therefore the existence of parallel universes could never either be proved or disproved. 

Two weeks prior to his death, Stephen Hawking submitted a paper titled:  "A Smooth Exit From External Inflation."  This paper lays out the math that Hawking suggests may be used to prove whether or not parallel universes exist!  This is considered ground breaking.  One aspect of this paper predicts that ultimately the universe in which we live will simply cease to exist.

It is due to his prediction that ultimately this universe will cease to exist that I place this post in the SDA theology section of this forum.   SDA theology suggests an alternative to what Hawking has predicted.

NOTE:  My understanding of cosmology is that it is reasonable to believe that this universe will cease to exist when all of the stars burn out.  Perhaps this is simply my ignorance.
