I notice a male that is walking his dog, who is on a leash.  HIs dog is going from plant to plant in our yard an eating parts of our plant.

Me:  Sir, some of our plants are deadly to dogs.

Man:  Really!  He sure enjoys eating your plants and he has not died yet.

NOTE:  We have some digitalis planted in our yard.

NOTE:  I did not say that the dog was actually eating such a plant.

I suspect he has been to your yard before. If it wasn't an innocent animal involved, I would say you need some more digitalis planted!

Actually, I think that we do not have any digitalis planted where we now live.

But, I do think that we have some other plants that are poisonous to dogs.

But, the very attitude of the  man.   :)
