Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted April 12, 2018 Moderators Posted April 12, 2018 Well, The One Project is gone. Out of its ashes The Global Collective has arisen. Unity is the word of the day. The General Conference has its concerns. See: https://spectrummagazine.org/article/2018/04/12/spring-meeting-postlude Quote Gregory

CoAspen Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 What will be required next....a badge of proof? This silliness by the GC needs to stop. Who is in charge, them or Christ? Let them answer that question, if not then get out of the road and let Christ continue to lead His Church. Me thinks we have a battle going on over two churches. The .org and Christs Church. Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted April 14, 2018 Members Posted April 14, 2018 I probably shouldn't post this.... but, I'm going to anyway... lol CoAspen and JoeMo 2 Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

CoAspen Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 The replies to the article by KP, seem to sum up the issue, for many they want doctrine front and foremost and others want Christ in the front. For me, John 3:16 and other like texts/passages speak to the truth and I can not find where doctrine is needed to understand that simple statement. Quote
CoAspen Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 What are the words of Christ and what is His 'doctrine'...believe in me and you will have life. What we call doctrines today go well beyond what Christ taught about Himself. To say we need those to understand why Christ would save us, is beyond me. I take Him for his word! Jn3:16. I like to keep it simple, not complicated. Quote
