Interesting quote / thought bubble from Bobby Schuller, - Hour of Power.

"Dying for the Christian will be more like waking up than falling asleep".

I wonder sometimes if we dont put much more emphasis on falling asleep than actually waking up? When we are born again, our baptism is symbolic of dying and being raised to life, yet how many Christians are really experiencing all that Jesus Christ wants us to experience once we have been awoken to what He has for us?

Really enjoying watching 'Hour of Power', they moved from the Crystal Cathedral when it went bankrupt and into a former Catholic building, Mr Schuller's son Bobby Schuller returned to it and took it over and they have since moved to a Presbyterian church and are back into the ministry once again. Bobby got his degree at Fuller and seems to be far stronger Evangelical than his father or his grandfather. Will be interesting to see where they go next, its unusual for a Christian program to be broadcast on public television in Australia, yet they seem to manage it well.
