Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted May 18, 2018 Moderators Posted May 18, 2018 The following quote was made by Billy Graham, in a private conversation with Wintley Phipps, many years ago. It has ben published in the May, 2018 Ministry magazine, on page 10, in an article, "Precious Memories of Billy Graham," written by Wintley Phipps. Quote Many people see America as a Christian nation. But more than America was meant to be a Christian nation, it was meant to be a nation of Christians, of Jews, of Muslims, a nation where people could worship god according to the dictates of their Conscience. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory
Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted May 18, 2018 Author Moderators Posted May 18, 2018 The following quote was made by Ned N.C. Wilson, current President of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. That article by Ted Wilson is printed on page 9 of the magazine listed in the post above this one. Quote Throughout his life, Pastor Graham proclaimed Christ's salvation nd righteousness. Transcending borders--cultural, national, sociological--his all-inclusive preaching new no barriers of any kind. He included all people in his preaching, lifting up Christ and His Word with the outpouring of his sincerity and passion for truth, accompanied by his genuine desire, to have all saved through the grace of Christ. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted May 19, 2018 Members Posted May 19, 2018 Wintley Phipps must have an extraordinary memory to remember a quote verbatim from many years ago. (I fail to see the point of the first quote vs the 2nd quote. Maybe I'm not reading it correctly.) Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

Not saying that I know anymore than you, but it seemed to me reading both quotes, that they seem to be saying pretty much the same thing?? Just my opinion! Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
