I found this interesting and sad as I do most of the Spectrum stuff. And George Knight lost any credibility with me when he put on the little tantrum in London and compared Ted Wilson to Hitler. That little event aside, other things are concerning. In any of those kind of forums, the general reader comments are very telling as to what crowd they are attracting.

I am sadly disappointed with the inefficient work of the LGTarians.... Do you think they may be in collusion with the Russians???

People who aspire to utter perfection : LGT-ers and the Japanese. Difference being that sometimes the Japanese actually get there…

c**************:
"God can replicate his character completely within us. It is only possible if God does it for us and the bible says that God is omnipotent. Saying that he can’t is saying that he can’t heal us from sin."

Let us say that this premise is true…however, none of you LGTarians can produce one single contemporary example of a “perfected” Christian. I call it false spiritual “advertising”.

Jesus asked if He would find faith when he returned. I suspicion it is going to be in very short supply. He said directly and it was repeated many times to be perfect even as God is perfect. I am not usually in the habit of calling Him a liar, it just becomes my job to figure out what He meant by it. I trust that He will reveal it to me as He promised in Jeremiah 33:3.

Of course, we also have the Holy Spirit deniers. But others have raised the thought, which I subscribe to, that part of the function of the Latter Rain is the ability given to LGT individuals to actually live without an intercessor.

People can mock LGT all they want, but I am convinced that LGT people are the same as the 144,000. Those people are described as being a very different people from any others who ever lived. People sometimes think that by living without an intercessor they have no resources available to them from heaven. It never seems to occur to the deniers that the people of God will live thru the time of trouble with every bit of help from heaven to live sinlessly that Jesus had available to Him to live sinlessly thru His thirty years of ministry on this earth. They have been sealed by this time and by pronouncement of God will remain righteous. Sadly, some have been deceived into believing they will be able to sin right up to the time Jesus comes. A masterful deception.

The fact that we have "not one single contemporary example of a Perfect Christian"" is irrelevant. I think that when one begins to toot their horn that they have become perfect that they have fallen in the worst way. Elijah thought he was the last of the followers of God until God informed Him that He had 7000 that had never bended the knee to false gods. If there are perfected people living today, God only knows who they are. It is no more my business to know than it was Peters to know what the end of John would be. However, I am convinced that there are many in whom Christ has been formed within them on this earth. I doubt whether many of the Spectrum readers could recognize them.

What is the number one thing you would like readers to take away from this book?

The most important take-away is a firm understanding that Christ is our perfectly sinless Savior in all ways and that He wants to develop His loving character in each of His followers.
