Dr. Shane Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 House Minority Leader Nancy Paloci's comments about Tony Snow becomeing the new White House spokesperson were just to quote the Tonight Show's host Jay Leno. When Jay said it, it was funny because, after all, he is a comidian. When Nancy said it, it was kind of troubling. If the best the Democrats can do is repeat jokes from late night television, they are in trouble. In my opinion, this fall's elections are the Democrats to lose. Like John Kerry in 2004, they will have no one to blame but themselves. Republicans have done nothing to motivate their base. So Democrats are going into the election season with the advantage. However if the extreame element continues to control the direction of the party, they may do what Republicans cannot. They may motive the Republican base to go to the polls and convince some of the moderates to vote Republican. I would like to see a moderate Democrat party take control of one of the houses of Congress. However, given the choice between the far left and the idle right, I would choose the idle, do-little right. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... olger Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 It seems that there are three parties anymore, and the dems & repubs are often against the conservatives. Oh well. There are no human solutions, just a divine one. gcw Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
