Testing 1-2-3

Moishe who worked for the chevra kadisha (Jewish burial society) at the local funeral home wasn’t sure he was going to be able to go into work. Early in the morning he woke up he was complaining of severe abdominal pains.

His wife Miriam rushed him to the emergency room, where tests were performed to determine the source of the pain.

“When we get the tests back maybe you can call the office for me,” Moishe told Miriam.

When the results came back, the nurse informed them that Moishe was suffering from a kidney stone.

Miriam turned to my husband and asked, "Would you like me to call the funeral home now?"

With a scornful look, the nurse turned to Miriam and snapped, "Honey, he's not that sick!"
