By the way, and to set the record straight:  Here in this forum, we encourage discussion over a wide range of positions.  I am confident that some would say that some  of the posts made by The Wanderer are useless.  Regardless,  we are delighted to have The Wanderer post here in this forum and for the contribution that he makes here, even if on occasion he does post a useless post.

"no women's voices"???  since when does the sex of someone make a difference in the content of a denominational meeting?

Well, well...I wasn't going to read it, but....after the comments.......?

I was raised on the message 'the end is coming, the end is coming', so what I read was not basicly any different. The world is going to 'hell in a hand basket', circle the wagons. Then I read the paragraph,

and I was puzzled by it contents. Not having been there, we don't know if the the writer was giving the 'correct' understanding others might have heard. But, that was the impression of the writer and if true, would be concerning as to attitude of the event by church leaders. But, to be fair, not alot different than we have heard before.
