Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted July 29, 2018 Moderators Posted July 29, 2018 Which of the following statement about the General Conference President is true: 1) He has grown a beard. 2) He has begun to wear a wedding ring. 3) He is accepting preaching assignments in congregational churches in various places in the world, not otherwise associated with a planned event. 4) He has announced that at the next General Conference, his wife will be a candidate for President of the GC. 5) He has announced that in 2019, the General Conference will return 25 % of its income directly to congregational churches in the Divisions from which the income came. 6) He has announced that beginning in 2020 the GC policy for ordination in the NAD that the MDiv. be the required educational level will be strictly enforced. NOTE: I am not attempting to poke fun at our President. One of the above items is true, the others are not. I am simply wondering how many members are actually close enough to the administration of this denomination to be aware of the one item that is actually true. Quote Gregory
