Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted July 30, 2018 Moderators Posted July 30, 2018 In 2015 Adventist Today published an article that impacts the operation of the General Conference today. That article was taken apart and sections published by many others, including those who falsely criticized President Ted Wilson for actions that no reasonable person would ever even imagine that he would take. In short, the published sections that others circulated were often edited in a manner that presented Wilson as falsely doing something that he did not do The AT article referenced at the URL below, examines this incident and asks questions as to why such a situation would occur. In addition it raises the issue as to what are the best tools to use in evangelism. https://atoday.org/adventist-todays-most-misunderstood-article-ever/ Quote Gregory
JoeMo Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 I liked the article. I agree that Steps to Christ is a good introduction to Adventism. Desire of Ages is also a VERY long book; and many people get bored with it because of its arcane language; regardless of its wonderful message. There are also many modern books that introduce Christ to people of this day and age that are much easier to read and understand. Quote
