Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted September 1, 2018 Moderators Posted September 1, 2018 AB 2943 was not focused on religious attempts. Such would probably been a violation of the Constitution. Rather it outlawed any service, which therefore included religious therapy. The following websie gives a pretty well balanced view of AB 2943 which does reflect why there are some concerns by religious people as to the bill. The biew presented there is bettern than my 3-sentence statement above. https://approachingjustice.net/2018/04/21/california-bill-ab-2943-and-what-it-means-for-religious-freedom/ In addition, the followings is the actual text of AB 2943: http://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=201720180AB2943 NOTE: Some people will prefer to click on the PDF link in the above website.
