Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted September 29, 2018 Moderators Posted September 29, 2018 Some of us, to include me, may say that the SDA denomination has elements of the Catholic church in is theology and practice. This may not bad. The following article takes a look at one element as to how EGW may have considered this issue. https://spectrummagazine.org/arts-essays/2018/where-run-paths-rome phkrause 1 Quote Gregory
Members phkrause Posted October 1, 2018 Members Posted October 1, 2018 Interesting article for sure!! It seemed to show, at least to me, that EGW acted a lot like a Prophet than many let on!! She got right into the face of the denomination leaders, as the Prophets of old got right in the face of the king and his court!! Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted October 1, 2018 Author Moderators Posted October 1, 2018 Ellen White often got in the face of denominational leaders. A major portion of he ministry in the SDA denomination was in giving administrative guidance. From that standpoint, we would not be the denomination that we are today if we had nto had her guidance. Major part of her influence were in health care, publishing and in education. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory
