In another topic, another member stated that the SDA Church has revised its theology on several occasions when there was sound biblical evidence to do so.  I asked that he provide some examples.  His response was that that is a subject for another thread.  So here is that thread.  Does anyone have any examples of revision to significant points of theology sine EGW's death - especially any since the mid-20th century?  I would be interested to see those.

The fundamental beliefs (aka "Principles") of 1872:

A look at the beliefs thru the years:

From 2015, regarding the latest round of beliefs revisions:

A nice pdf file of the 28 beliefs:

These are very cool websites B/W - just what I was looking for.  Thanks!  It will take me a while to digest all this stuff.

I am not totally sure about the TruthSeekers site, but am looking over their material. Some of the historical stuff is interesting.

Another brief example, is in the 1932 Church Manual there are 22 fundamental Beliefs

The first set of "Principles" (or beliefs) numbered 25. So what got taken out and what got put back in? Were any of the "taken out" put back in or something different? Would be interesting to line them all up next to each other and look at the changes.

From the versions I have read, revisions seem to be "refinements" or "clarifications" rather than changes to doctrine.

Maybe when I "retire?"

You will never retire until it's time for your dirt nap (or translation!)
