JoeMo Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 The following is a summary of an interesting excerpt from a monthly devotional we get from Rabbi Jonathan Cahn (author of "The Harbinger" and other best-selling books on prophecy) concerning possible signs of the times from a rabbinical point of view. Rabbi Cahn does not swallow the whole story; and neither do I; but I found it sufficiently interested to post. THE COW One of the commands given to Moses requires the birth, sacrifice, and burning of a red heifer without blemish n order to make the water of cleansing (See Numbers 19). In the latter part of 2018, it was announced by a group of rabbinical experts that meets all of the requirements. It is the first such certification in 2,000 years. Many believe that this portends the building of a 3rd temple and the soon coming of Messiah. THE SERPENT At the same time the Rabbis were checking out the red heifer, a different creature began to crawl out of the western wall - a snake. Traditionally, the snake is associated with evil; and some contend this is a sign of evil soon to befall the land. THE FISH In Ezek. 47, there is a prophecy about abundant aquatic life returning to the Dead Sea. It is so salty that there have been no observable signs of life in the Dead Sea - until recently. Towards the end of 2018, scientists were shocked to find fish and other life forms filling up the sinkholes of the Dead Sea. Signs of the Messiah's return? Maybe; maybe not; but I found it interesting. Quote

JoeMo Posted January 4, 2019 Author Posted January 4, 2019 Peter and Paul were saying something similar almost 2,000 years ago. Quote
