B/W Photodude Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Changing the Gender Pronouns in the Spirit of Prophecy to Accommodate Women’s Ordination This is totally UNACCEPTABLE! I do hope that when they start out printing books with these changes that they are clearly marked as adulterated works so as to avoid them. http://adventmessenger.org/changing-the-gender-pronouns-in-the-spirit-of-prophecy-to-accommodate-womens-ordination/ In December 19, 1878, church founders James White, J. H. Waggoner, Uriah Smith, and J.N. Andrews (all editors for the Signs of the Times) published an editorial on the women’s role in the church. These were not just ministers and leading men in the church. These were the founders and pioneers of the movement who were led by the Holy Spirit and by the testimonies of the living prophet, Ellen White, who held these men accountable. And here is what they published in an editorial entitled, “Women’s Place in the Gospel.” “A woman may pray, prophesy, exhort and comfort the church, but she cannot occupy the position of a pastor or a ruling elder.” phkrause 1 Quote >>>Texts in blue type are quotes<<< ***************************************************************************** And therefore as a stranger give it welcome.
