JoeMo Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 In another article by Rabbi Cahn, he talks about the "Tractate Sanhedrin" - the very same Sanhedrin that condemned Jesus to death for blasphemy - taken from the Talmud. According to Cahn, the Sanhedrin wrote concerning Jesus: "Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him a leper, smitten of God, and afflicted." This rings strangely of the first part of Isaiah 53. Strange how the very Sanhedrin that condemned Jesus to death for falsely claiming to be the Messiah (causing Him to be despised, rejected, wounded, and afflicted) fulfilled one of the prophecies proving that Jesus was the Messiah. phkrause 1 Quote
Moderators Kevin H Posted January 28, 2019 Moderators Posted January 28, 2019 Don't forget that the above writing probably came from Pharisees from that Sanhedrin, and the group that condemned Jesus was 24 Sadduceeian elders with no Pharisees invited. JoeMo 1 Quote
