B/W Photodude Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 So, I had 30 mins+ today to read while waiting and brought along my current volume of Testimonies to read. Sat down and then had to check email, Facebook, and even of course Adventistan. Looked at the time and most of it was gone! Open to my current spot and found the chapter that I was supposed to be reading was entitled "The Power of Satan"! You are so busted Satan! phkrause 1 Quote >>>Texts in blue type are quotes<<< ***************************************************************************** And therefore as a stranger give it welcome. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

He will waste nothing to achieve his goals. In being busted, I saw how the distraction of other things kept me from doing what I needed to be doing. I am sure he knows that at one point or another the chapter would get read. Too be clear, I do not really believe I rate high enough to gain his "personal" attention, but just one of his minions! phkrause 1 Quote >>>Texts in blue type are quotes<<< ***************************************************************************** And therefore as a stranger give it welcome. B/W Photodude Posted January 30, 2019 Author Posted January 30, 2019 1 hour ago, The Wanderer said: well; I must be pretty high up in his "rating scale" then. I tend to think there are somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 million + demons. 7 billion people on earth and Satan is personally attending to me?! Technically, that is poor management! Reminds me of the job site story where the foreman was down in a hole digging out the dirt. The workers were standing around watching him. One of the even higher up managers came along and saw him down in the hole. All the workers were supposed to be doing the work while the foreman watched! The foreman was not doing a good job of supervising. The foreman was fired on the spot. Don't forget that all of the demons are angels of light mightier than any human and any are capable of doing the job of tempting into sin. Those leading the church into rebellion probably get more attention from the "higher ups!" JoeMo Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 "10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Eph. 6:10-12) To me these verses speak of a hierarchy in the kingdom of satan, just as there is a hierarchy in the government of God. Rulers, authorities, and powers could indicate different "ranks" of demonic forces. could "rulers" be the wannabe "gods" who ruled over the nations in the early history of Israel; while plain old demons are maybe the privates in the army who are assigned to individual humans? I think its feasible. Another thought (maybe off the topic a little) - When we rant and criticize the way our government is or is not being run, we must remember that "our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers ...". Many poor people (on both sides of the aisle) are being manipulated by dark powers. I have quit praying FOR some world leaders and AGAINST others; And have chosen to pray that the Spirit of God remove the blinders from the people on both sides of the aisle; and that they allow God (rather than the evil one) to guide our countries into His idea of unity and peace.
