A man named Oliver Sacks has written several books.   One of the popular books that he wrote was titled:  The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a  Hat.   This book has gone through multiple printings, as early as 1979 and as late as 2018.  Multiple printings of it are available on Amazon, for both paper and  Kindle editions.

Some of you might find this book of interest, if you were to purchase it.

I have read this book and own quite a few of Oliver Sack's books and I have been reading his books for years. Another interesting book is "The Anthropologist on Mars." Oliver Sacks was a neurologist who took the time to visit and get to know people with various neurological conditions. In this book he even gave the names of many of the individuals he wrote of and you can follow them on Youtube.

Another really good book if you are into music is "Musicophilia" which is a very interesting look at the neurology of music and sound. Sacks writes very well and has an interesting use of language which I often have to resort to my dictionary. Not techno words but more obscure use of words.

Many may remember a movie that came out starring Robert DeNiro and Robin Williams called "The Awakening." Sacks wrote the book.

Of interest, once I was reading along as he described one of his own personal vision conditions and it suddenly dawned on me --- Sacks was gay! This I found in print shortly afterwards. Sadly, at over 80 years of age, Sacks recently passed away due to liver cancer leaving behind his partner Billy Hays.
