The author of the following has written a 2-part series on being a pastor, as he transitions to retirement. I am posting the 2nd part of his series as I find it interesting and worthy of consideration.

Thanks for posting. I did read both articles and enjoyed them. I did agree pretty much as to the way people are treated. I worked for the church for about 17 years. First at FFT and than at AUC. At both in printing. If he thinks that pastors are treated so/so, those of us that were not in teaching or pastoring are treated even worse!! Like in the military those that are privates are always told we are lower than whale @#$!. That's how we felt sometimes. Anyway the articles were good!! I did notice that there is another one coming, forward to that one as well!!

Pastor Siebold has long distinguished himself as a voice of Christian civility and reason. His gay "friendly" position, regardless of its rightness or wrongness, is a good indicator of the direction and probable  landing place of homosexuals in the denomination.
