Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted July 22, 2019 Moderators Posted July 22, 2019 The following question was posted on QUORA: If Mr. Smith can plow seven (7) acres in one hour of time, how long would it take Mr. Smith to plow 22 acres? I decided to respond to that question, as it had been sent to me. In my response, I stated that it would take Mr. Smit four (4) hours to plow 22 acres. I did not propose that his tractor broke down. I did not suggest different plowing conditions that would lengthen the time. My suggestion of four hours of time was based upon common working conditions. Why did I suggest four (4) hours instead of slightly over three (3) hours? NOTE: Think out of the box for this one. Quote Gregory

Maybe it was back in 1840, before tractors. His ox got tired, and needed water. He took a break for breakfast (or lunch).
