Directv Blackouts

As some of you may be aware if your subscribe to Directv,  currently in some parts of the country, your can not receive CBS affiliated TV stations.

NOTE:  I live in such an area in which we have not been able to receive such stations for the past 8 days.

If you live in one of those affected areas, Directv will send you free of charge what they call a Local Channel Connector kit.  That kit will become your property and you will not have to return it.   You will have to install it to your cable box, as ATT will not install it.  It will receive local stations, if it works, but it may not work.  If it works, it will power two devices at a time, such as two TVs or one TV and a DVR.  As it is your property, if it does not work, you can do anything you wish with it.

You have nothing to lose, but a bit of your time, for you to call and request such a kit, if you are a Directv subscriber.
