Moderators Nan Posted June 1, 2006 Moderators Posted June 1, 2006 I would have thought you could write "late to bed and early to rise" Aldona . Sometimes seems hard to get off the treadmill of burning the candle at both ends ( and I could not think of a third metaphor to mix in there ) Quote
aldona Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Late to bed and early to rise, and you still feel sort of OK. (Especially after the caffeine starts to enter the bloodstream.) But late to bed and late to rise (e.g. on a Saturday night/ Sunday morning or public holiday)...well, let's just say my brain gets left behind in the bed sheets somewhere and I spend much of the day wandering around aimlessly and having what I call a "what are we going to do now" situation. aldona Quote www.asrc.org.au (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Melbourne)Helping over 2000 refugees & asylum seekers each monthIMSLP/Petrucci Music LibraryThe Public Domain Music Score Library - Free Sheet Music DownloadsLooking for classical sheet music?
